Support
Since 2003 United Kenyans of Chicago has touched thousands of people and helped improved US and Kenya relations in various ways. Through UKC:
- Kenya has it’s first sister city relationship in the Midwest (Dixon-Thika)
- New and long time residents have found access to human services for a variety of needs including health care, legal, education, career
- Kenyans and Friends of Kenya have found a way to connect with each other and make new useful contacts
- The Kenyan community has a voice among immigrant communities in the State of Illinois. The organization’s record has earned wide respect in Illinois. In this regard the organization received a service award from Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley in February 2008
Running an organization such as United Kenyans of Chicago is a very expensive and time consuming process, especially for an all volunteer organization. Financial and material resources are needed for the quality programs we produce.
Your support enables the work to continue and the organization to grow. All donations to UKC are tax-deductible.
