Learning about available services and programs
The Career and Human Services program provides information and referrals to a wide variety of professional/career and human service programs available in the Chicago land area.
This program also provides educational workshops and information sessions on services of interest.
Career and Human Service referrals and recommendations include the following areas:
- Career Development Services and Events: UKC researches and posts career related events and services that are relevant to the Kenyan Diaspora.
- Family and Support Services: United Kenyans of Chicago has developed relationships with established human service organizations that assist with all areas of public aid (medical assistance (All Kids, Medicare, emergency assistance)
- Legal and Immigration Assistance: UKC provides referrals to legal professionals and legal aid organizations for individuals.
